USA Reverse also allows prospective borrowers to compare reverse mortgage lenders, of which the company lists four on its staging webpage, including First Choice Loan Services, Inc.; Sun West Mortgage Company, Inc.; Security 1 Lending and Retirement Funding Solutions. All referral services via USA Reverse are provided through First Choice Loan Services’ parent company, First Choice Bank headquartered in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

The mortgage division of First Choice Loan Services maintains locations in seven states, including Arizona, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas. The company offers conventional, Federal Housing Administration, VA, USDA, renovation loan products and reverse mortgages.

In agreement with First Choice, the USA Reverse website is maintained by Affinity Partnerships, LLC, a lead generator headquartered in Pocatello, Idaho, whose partnerships include a range of mortgage and financial services providers, including First Choice Loan Services, Sun West Mortgage Company and even Costco, which first became involved with mortgages in 2012 upon the launch of its full-service lending program in partnership with First Choice Bank and 10 other lenders.

A trademark filing for USA Reverse dates to October 9, 2015, listing the correspondent as Christopher Barnett, associate attorney at Marchand & Moraine, LLP in Southlake, Texas. A description of USA Reverse in the filing states the company’s purpose is “matching borrowers with potential leaders in the field of consumer and mortgage lending.”

Best known for his roles in the Lethal Weapon (1987) film franchise and The Color Purple (1985), Glover, has also gained recognition for various activism and philanthropic work both in the U.S. and abroad. Some of his accolades include serving as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Program from 1998-2004; a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2004; and member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Economic and Policy Research.

As a reverse mortgage spokesman, Glover would be the latest in a long list of celebrities who have championed the product in the past, and the first African American spokesperson to join the ranks. Welcome to the industry, Danny.
