Washington Trust Company announced that it added Robert Schattle and Jeffrey Shotwell as reverse mortgage professionals for its new Massachusetts office.
“In this economic environment, reverse mortgages are an excellent option for senior homeowners,” said Stephen M. Bessette, executive vice president, retail lending at Washington Trust. “Our reverse mortgage specialists have helped more and more Rhode Island seniors achieve financial independence and remain in their own homes.”
Schattle brings more than six years of reverse mortgage experience, and has provided services such as seminars and home consultations on the reverse mortgage program.
Shotwell has more than 10 years of mortgage lending experience, most recently as a reverse mortgage specialist and mortgage loan consultant.
Washington Trust, has earned designation as the top reverse mortgage lender in Rhode Island, for the dates July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2009, according to a company statement.
