Reverse Mortgage Lenders Join to Benefit, Grant Wishes for Seniors

Reverse mortgage lenders and industry members are gathering for a new cause this year, to be celebrated during the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association annual conference in early November.

In an effort to raise funds for the Wish of a Lifetime Foundation, industry members are invited to the World War II Museum in New Orleans on Monday, November 4, from 7- 10 pm for an event to recognize, honor and grant wishes to at least five seniors who have overcome tremendous challenges in their own lives.

The event will be held in conjunction with the 15th annual NRMLA meeting and expo taking place on November 4-6 in New Orleans.

Among those receiving granted wishes: Karen Luerssen, 67, who will receive a hot air balloon ride along with her daughter; Don Carlson, 89, who has long visited World War II memorials and has two remaining memorials to see, will be granted visits to the remaining museums on his list; and Ken Muston, 87, a former Prisoner of War who served during World War II whose wish is to return to his place of capture in Anzio Beach, Italy.

Lenders and industry sponsors are joining together to host the event, encouraging donations.

Sponsors include Reverse Mortgage Solutions, AAG, ReverseVision, Premier Reverse Closings, Generation Mortgage Company, Bay Docs, Inc., Coester VMS, Celink, One Reverse Mortgage, 1st Reverse Mortgage USA, Liberty Home Equity Solutions, Mortgage Information Services, and 2125 Events.
