Landmark Loan Services recently announced that they acquired ReverseMortgageAppraisers.com (RMA) for an undisclosed amount. RMA was developed by California Appraiser Len Fishman in 2007 to serve as a centralized directory for appraisers specializing in reverse mortgages.
Landmark is a national appraisal and vendor management company based out of Los Angeles, CA and sees the reverse mortgage industry as an opportunity for growth. “This union furthers our ultimate goal to efficiently service our clientele and continue to grow our position in as a premium reverse mortgage service provider.” said Erik Richard, chief operating officer of Landmark.
By handling both directory based services and VMC services, Landmark plans to serve the lender community while supplying the expanded appraiser community with an increased amount of work. This joint operation will continue to comprehensively cover every county in the nation.

Mr. Fishman will join Landmark’s senior management with the new joint operation from his offices in Sacramento. Website operations will be moved to Landmark’s Los Angeles headquarters.
