Generation Mortgage Company is increasing its West Coast presence with the addition of two new pacific region sales team members. The company has announced the hires of Evan White and Charles Byler, who will be responsible for leading sales in California and Arizona, respectively.
Both are certified and tasked with running Generation’s new nu62xm software and website, which the company rolled out late last year as a way to help potential borrowers navigate their home equity strategic options.
The company is eyeing growth opportunity on the West Coast in part due to regional qualities that appeal to the nation’s retiring population.
“The pacific region of the country is an area that we view as ripe with opportunity in the conversion mortgage space,” said Generation Chief Sales Officer Cheryl MacNally. “While California has been regarded as a retirement destination for decades, many seniors find the warm climate of Arizona just as appealing. Consequently, we felt it was essential to hire the best talent available in the areas, and we’re pleased to have Evan and Charles join the Generation team.”
White, who will lead retail sales in California, most recently worked for as a branch manager for Cherry Creek Mortgage covering Southern California through Montana. He also brings mortgage experience with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Cornerstone Financial.
Byler, who will lead retail sales in Arizona brings 27 years in the banking industry including reverse mortgage positions with Approval Mortgage, Sun West Mortgage and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Earlier in his career, he rose from teller to executive vice president-chief operating officer in roles in Los Angeles-area banks.
