1st Reverse Mortgage USA Expands Wholesale Correspondent Channel

The reverse mortgage division of Cherry Creek Mortgage, 1st Reverse Mortgage USA, is ramping up its wholesale correspondent channel with the hires of four new account executives.

The company announced this week it has hired Lori Erskine, Timothy Parker, Darren Primicias and Lauralis Soberal to the wholesale sales team. The hires come following a leadership reconfiguration among 1st Reverse Mortgage USA management that resulted in David Brindley moving into the role of National Correspondent Wholesale Development Manager and the subsequent hire of Sandy Tennekoon as Wholesale Correspondent Sales manager.

“Ultimately, our value is determined by the customer experience; we uniquely enable our people and deliver on this critical component,” said Dan Harder, Vice President, 1st Reverse Mortgage USA, in a press release. “There is a transformation happening in our industry, which must change to meet evolving customer and business demands. We firmly believe that the lifeline and health of our business is intrinsically tied to our people, and how we support our customers.”

Among the new account executive hires, Erskine brings more than 12 years in financial services including roles with Reverse Mortgage Solutions and Premier Reverse Closings. Parker has more than 20 years of management, sales and secondary market experience and has worked for Mellon Bank, Chrysler Corp, National City Bank, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank. Primicias comes from Maverick funding, with more than 15 years of experience also spanning positions with First Star Bank, Nationwide Equities and Urban Financial. Finally, Soberal comes from Reverse Mortgage Solutions and Urban Financial and brings five years of financial services experience.

“We are honored to have each of these individuals join 1st Reverse Mortgage USA,” Harder said. “They have the same ‘hyper-customer’ focus resulting in long-term customer relationships and value; resulting in differentiation of our organization.”
