Targeting expansion among several new states for the company, Plymouth, Michigan-based 1st Financial Reverse Mortgage announced this week the hire of reverse mortgage industry veteran Dennis Loxton to spearhead growth in the Southeast and Midwest.
A division of Success Mortgage Partners, Inc, 1st Financial Reverse is first targeting Florida as well as Georgia, Indiana and Alabama and is hiring in those regions and others.
Loxton, who brings a 20-year career in financial services including work in the reverse mortgage business since 2005, will be managing the southeast expansion with licensing pending in several additional states.
“Dennis’s background in financial planning and education, along with his diverse experience in the reverse mortgage space make him a valuable part of our expansion strategy. We are pleased to have Dennis join our team,” said Mike Gruley, Director of Reverse Mortgage Operations at 1st Financial.
Loxton is credited with authoring the first CE course in 2005 that taught insurance professionals how a reverse mortgage ethically fits into the overall retirement
planning process and has taught CE courses to more than 2000 attorneys, insurance professionals, accountants, and financial planners.
