Eric Carmichael joins AppraiserLoft as chief technology officer for the San Diego, Calif.-based collateral valuation software developer. Carmichael most recently served as technology director at Adapt Technologies, a firm that developed Adapt SEM, a pay-per-click management and reporting tool, which was sold to WebVisible. Prior to that, he worked for Amazon.com (AMZN), where he was a program manager of an effort to improve revenue and margins from accessories. “We’re always thinking about not only providing the best technology to serve our clients today, but also focusing on innovation for the future,” said AppraiserLoft founder and CEO Aman Makkar. “Eric has years of experience building complex, scalable computer systems for high-growth companies, and we felt he is the perfect fit to execute our technology initiatives as our growth accelerates,” he added.
