Mount Laurel, N.J.-based Freedom Mortgage announced the launch of a commercial real estate lending division this week.
The mortgage firm is already heavily active in the residential mortgage origination space and is now expanding its footprint into commercial lending.
The new division will be headquartered in New York and will focus on first-mortgage origination from $2 million to $10 milion in size for CMBS execution, the company said.
