A bill designed to speed up the foreclosure process in Florida cleared a significant hurdle to passage this week.

The legislation cleared the state senate Judiciary Committee and is deemed ‘passable’ by various business groups and lawmakers in the state, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported.
