DataQuick names Frank McMahon executive chairman

Real estate research firm DataQuick appointed Frank McMahon executive chairman Thursday.

McMahon is expected to manage DataQuick’s client relationships while also handling development and strategic growth in the wake of DataQuick’s acquisition of Reis Title.

McMahon will continue serving on the Advisory Board of Decision Insight Information Group, the holding company that owns DataQuick.

In the past, McMahon served TPG Capital as a consultant and Solutions Group at The First American Corp. as CEO. Prior to taking the CEO spot at Solutions Group, he served the firm as CFO and vice chairman.

He also brings 20 years experience as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers.

“Frank has provided invaluable insight and direction to DataQuick and the other DIIG businesses as an advisory board member,” said Chris Cartwright, chief executive officer of DIIG.  “His expanded role will allow him to leverage his extensive industry experience to help DataQuick meet the needs of our clients and grow more effectively.”
