Lisa Barrentine named president and CEO of First Preston

First Preston announced Lisa Barrentine as president and CEO of the real estate asset and technology firm.

Barrentine amassed more than two decades of experience working with First Preston, joining the company in 1991. Since her initial position of vice president of accounting, she has served as senior vice president, chief financial officer, chief operating officer and now president of the company.

Barrentine is also a certified public accountant, earning her bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Arkansas. She currently serves on the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center Advisory Board at Texas Christian University. She also sits on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity at South Collin College.

“Her leadership has propelled the company from its beginning as a small business to recognition as a national lender in real estate services and intelligent technologies, and one of the largest certified women-owned businesses in the country,” First Preston said in a press release.

The company, which offers business work flow solutions like HomeTracker and real estate management platforms like BidSelect, represents $40 billion in market value and caters to over 440,000 properties, financial institutions and government bodies. The First Preston HT umbrella company includes Castle Peak Homes, First Preston Management and HomeTelos.
