Integrated Asset Services appointed Paul Sveen as chief executive officer. Sveen comes to the Denver-based company from 25 years experience in the industry. For 19 years he worked with Lehman Brothers in the structured finance and securitization business sectors. He also worked at Aurora Loan Services, a subsidiary of Lehman. “Paul is an innovative thinker who develops and mobilizes strong teams to deliver long-range solutions,” commented Ryan Tomazin, president of IAS. He added that he believes Sveen’s unique understanding of the business and his extensive practical operating experience will usher in a new era for the company. IAS is a default management and residential collateral valuation firm with a specialization in technology. The firm recently hired a new chief operating officer, John Burnett. When Sveen was at Lehman, the financial firm was the fourth largest Wall Street institution. Lehman declared bankruptcy in September 2008, the largest in the nation’s history.
