The Federal Housing Finance Agency promoted Fred Graham to deputy director of the Division of Federal Home Loan Bank Regulation this week.
Graham, who immediately assumed his new duties, oversees the regulation and supervision of the Federal Home Loan Banks.
Previously, Graham was the acting deputy director of the Division of Supervision Policy and Support at FHFA as well as the senior associate director of the Office of Risk Analysis at FHFA.
Prior to FHFA, Graham served as a senior economist and head of risk modeling with the Federal Housing Finance Board.
"Fred has been a tremendous asset to FHFA and I look forward to his leadership in his new role guiding the regulation and supervision of the Federal Home Loan Banks," said Ed DeMarco, acting director of the FHFA.
He added, "I am grateful to him for the leadership he displayed as Acting Deputy Director of DSPS and know that he will be an excellent supervisor of the Federal Home Loan Banks going forward."
