Dallas foreclosures fall by 30%

City ranks No. 12 in the nation for foreclosures

According to the Dallas Morning News, Dallas is recovering well, and home foreclosures have fallen by almost 30% during the past year.

The newspaper says,

During the 12-month period ending with July, researchers at CoreLogic found that there were 7,995 completed home foreclosures in the Dallas area. That’s down from more than 11,000 foreclosures in the previous 12 months.

The Dallas area now ranks 12th for foreclosures among the major U.S. cities CoreLogic tracks for its report.
