The Chief Executive Officer of Wells Fargo John G. Stumpf was ranked as the highest paid banker in America last year.

Stumpf reportedly made $22.87 million, the Los Angeles Times said.

Previously in 2011, Stumpf made $19.84 million, but this year’s high payday is attributed to Wells Fargo’s (WFC) strong performance, the paper said.
