A woman in Philadelphia was charged for participating in a mortgage fraud conspiracy involving more than 100 state properties and more than $20 million in false loan proceeds, according to an article from the South Jersey Times.
If convicted, she faces a fine of $1.5 million or twice the value of the property involved in the transactions, the article said.
Rashika J. Moon, 42, of Carneys Point was charged with conspiracy to commit loan and wire fraud, false statement in connection with Federal Housing Administration loan, and loan fraud.
