Greenlight Financial Services announced today that Michael Petree joined the company as president of the consumer direct mortgage platform, as part of their plans to grow and accelerate the company in 2012.
Petree, a well-known leader in the financial services industry. He served on the Mortgage Bankers Association Board of Directors that created MISMO, considered the technology platform standard for the industry.
“Michael offers Greenlight the vision and strategic planning to take the company to an even higher level of success,” said Joann Pham, CEO of Greenlight. “His passion will not only allow us to seize the current low rate environment, but also drive our efforts to diversify our product offerings to prepare for the future.”
Upon joining Greenlight, Petree announced that the company will seek to add more than 500 employees by the end of this year in order to accommodate its current growth rate, bringing the total number of employees in Irvine, Calif. to over 1,000.
