Clark has worked in virtually every element of mortgage lending — starting in the industry over 40 years ago and developing his expertise in everything from governance and risk management to policy and advocacy. Clark champions the Mortgage Action Alliance grassroots advocacy network, which allows constituents to play an active role in shaping legislation and regulations.

Clark was awarded the designation of certified mortgage banker by the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2006, and he continues to be a tireless advocate for the mortgage industry through his service on the MBA Residential Board of Governors.
