Urban Financial Group today announced the launch of a sales support division under the new leadership of former MetLife wholesale sales support manager Nadine Conklin.
The company also announced the hire of Robert Sessock, formerly of Security One and MetLife to staff the new division, which will on-board new clients, assist current partners with recertifications, and provide extra support for technology matters. The business unit will support training resources, investor education and marketing support and will report to Sherry Apanay, Urban’s managing director of sales.
“We wanted to bridge the gap between the work of our Account Executives and Loan Account Managers (LAMs) – the Sales Support team will work in tandem with the Account Managers to ensure our clients’ growth goals are met and they are as successful as possible,” Apanay said.
Conklin will serve as Urban’s wholesale sales support manager and Sessock will serve as sales support associate.
“Nadine and Rob have established relationships with our customers and a great deal of experience supporting a wholesale business,” Apanay said. “We are happy to have them part of the team.”
