Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC announced Monday that it has added reverse mortgage industry veteran Craig Barnes as corporate trainer.
Barnes, who has 17 years of experience working in corporate training in financial services—more than 10 of which spent in the reverse mortgage industry—will be responsible for the education of RMF employees and partners across all business channels.
In this new position, Barnes will be responsible for all aspects of training at RMF, including establishing a training calendar, developing training curricula, creating a reference library, operational forms and work flows, said RMF President David Peskin.
“As Reverse Mortgage Funding continues to grow—adding employees, third-party originators, and new products to our portfolio—it is essential for us to have solid training in place,” Peskin said in a statement. “We’re fortunate to have Craig join our team.”
Prior to joining RMF, Barnes was a director and partner experience manager at Reverse Mortgage Solutions. Before that, he was wholesale training/business procedures manager at MetLife Home Loans.
Barnes is a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional through the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association and is also a member of the Independent Certification Committee.
