Here's the new tech available to the real estate industry

Indianapolis-based High Alpha has launched Shaker, a collaborative CRM and real estate transaction management platform.

Through the platform, Shaker offers a suite of tools to streamline client communication and collaboration, including transaction management, client communication, predictive insights and a built-in referral engine.

According to Shaker, since launching its private beta earlier this year, the company is already working with teams at Coldwell Banker, RE/MAX and Berkshire Hathaway.

“Even in today’s highly digital world, real estate software, and especially software built for teams, is still antiquated and clunky,” Shaker’s Cofounder and CEO Chris Lucas said in a statement. “We set out to provide a full transaction and client management platform that competes with the best services across other industries.”


iBuying platform zavvie has launched zavvie Pro, with the goal of helping real estate agents turn homeowners into home sellers.

Zavvie Pro agents have access to seller lead-gen tools, personalized branding within the platform and a new service called OfferFax – a proprietary selling options report that gives agents comparisons of all different selling options available to them in their market.

The participating brokerages give homeowners the ability to see offers from iBuyers buy-before-you-sell options from bridge solution providers and compare that to the sales price with an open market listing.

“Zavvie Pro keeps the modern agent at the center of every sales transaction, no matter what the homeowner decides,” Lane Hornung, zavvie co-founder, and CEO, said in a statement. “Webuilt zavvie Pro to help the modern agent generate more seller leads, win more listings, and always earn a commission.”


Real estate tech company Homie has launched its brokerage services in the Denver Metro region. According to the company, it’s the No. 1 broker in Utah and is currently in Arizona and Nevada, with plans to continue expansion.

Homie doesn’t charge percentage-based commission, and instead offers sellers a $3,000 flat fee regardless of the home’s sale price. For buyers, Homie offers a client rebate of up to $5,000. Since its launch in 2015, the company says it has saved consumers $62 million in real estate commissions.

Homie offers consumers a suite of real estate services that provide easy access to mortgage, title and insurance services.
