Sen. Schumer wants Sandy foreclosure aid extended

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y, wants the banks to extend a mortgage payment holiday for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Moratoriums designed to protect families harmed by the storm from losing their properties are set to expire in the coming weeks. Before that occurs, Schumer is asking financial firms to extend their payment holidays and foreclosure moratoriums for victims another three to six months.
