Chairman and CEO Stephen Schwarzman of Blackstone Group, one of the largest owners of individual houses in America, said he is betting heavily on residential real estate, according to CNBC. However, instead of buying and selling the houses, Blackstone rents out the houses.
“Blackstone is now the largest owner of individual houses in the United States,” Schwarzman told CNBC, pointing to his company’s $3 billion portfolio of residential real estate.
