NeighborWorks to Redesign and Combine HECM Counseling Websites

National housing non-profit and HECM counseling hub NeighborWorks America‘s HECM sites will be getting a facelift according to a request for proposals sent by the organization in late April.

NeighborWorks currently operates three HECM-related sites, which it plans to roll into one streamlined site, according to the RFP. The sites, HECMresources.org, HECMexam.org, and HECMcounselors.org, will operate as one under NeighborWorks’ plan, which it aims to complete by the end of September. The new site will support training and technical assistance activities for HECM Counselor, according to NeighborWorks.

The site will include a public-facing component to include a general overview, information on how to become a HECM counselor and other information on HECM counseling such as training, technical support and counseling tools.

A second, password-protected area of the site for HECM counselors will offer administrative capabilities.
