National Aging in Place Week Kicks Off, New Website Released

image The National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) announced its annual Aging in Place Week along with a new website meant to become America’s Senior Support Network and help link seniors with services in neighborhoods all across the country.

"Our goal is to provide one-stop-shopping for seniors who have problems and are searching for help," said Marty Bell of NAIPC. "This new site is designed to make it as easy as possible for seniors to find the services they need."

The new website includes a directory of several different types of service providers including reverse mortgage lenders.  After a quick glance it looks like the list is derived from the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association

Aging in Place week is a nationwide event where service providers across the country provide educational and entertaining events from October 12 to 18 to help seniors age comfortably and healthfully in their homes.

You can see a list of events planned here.
