The public response to Michigan’s Hardest Hit Fund program launch was more subdued on Tuesday. Call volumes were a fraction of the tens of thousands of calls received Monday that crashed the Michigan State Housing Development Authority’s phone system, said Mary Townley, director of the housing authority’s homeownership division. There were no official tallies, she said.
