Washington-area homeowners struggling with their mortgage payments will get a chance to try to work out a better deal face to face, if their mortgage is with JP Morgan Chase. JP Morgan is sending 100 loan counselors to Washington for an eight-day counseling event. The in-person meetings will be offered from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mayflower Hotel July 23 through July 30.
