After almost two years as the Director of Reverse Mortgages for AdvisorNet Mortgage, Atare E. Agbamu told RMD in an email he has resigned to foucs on his research, writing, and consulting in the reverse mortgage arena.
Agbamu joined AdvisorNet Mortgage in December of 2008 to lead its reverse mortgage division. Prior to joining AdvisorNet, Agbamu served as Director of Training/Reverse Mortgage Specialist at Credo Mortgage Inc, where he helped build the company’s reverse mortgage operations and brand.
Agbamu is the author of Think Reverse and has over a decade of reverse mortgage experience.
AdvisorNet’s reverse mortgage business never took off, originating 2 HECMs during FY 2010 according to data from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
