HousingWire reported Thursday on a Philadelphia woman charged with mortgage fraud. The Philadelphia Business Journal says federal prosecutors have charged additional people involved in the alleged scheme.
Dontaya S. Devore, 38, was charged with conspiracy to commit loan and wire fraud and with making a false statement in connection with a scheme to defraud the Federal Housing Administration.
There were five people involved in the alleged scam, which also involved real estate company KREW Settlement Services.
