ABC’s World News TV show is seeking input from reverse mortgage borrowers for an upcoming story.
“Have you taken out a reverse mortgage? World News wants to hear from you,” ABC says on its website.
According to the call for input, World News, which is hosted by Diane Sawyer, is working on a story about the reverse mortgage industry. “The number of consumers taking out reverse mortgages has grown rapidly in the last decade,” it says.
An entry form encourages borrowers to submit their stories for consideration by the show’s producers.
If produced, the ABC coverage would come following several other mainstream news segments on reverse mortgages, including a recent Today Show segment that may be viewed as some of the most positive coverage yet.
