1010data and ASF develop a series of non-agency RMBS reports through new partnership

1010data and the American Securitization Forum announced Tuesday they have partnered to develop a series of market review reports that focus on data in the private, non-agency investor market. 1010data is an analytics firm, warehousing data for Wall Street institutions. The American Securitization Forum is a professional forum for participants in the U.S. secondary market. The ASF has over 330 members, including investment firms, issuers, investors, servicers, financial intermediaries, rating agencies, financial guarantors, legal and accounting firms. The partnership draws data from leading research firms, CoreLogic and Equifax, and aims to give investors a more holistic level of understanding of residential mortgage-backed securities performance. Another key goal of the report is to facilitate more transparency in the marketplace. “We have developed a close relationship with the ASF, and we fully support their goal of bringing increased transparency to the structured finance market,” said Greg Munves, vice president, 1010data. “The Non-Agency MBS report is meant to provide a high-level overview of the state of the market and serve as a starting point for investors to begin their own deeper analysis.” The ASF and 1010data said they will partner with additional data providers to bring members reports on both agency and commercial mortgage-backed securities. The  first report is now available. Write to Christine Ricciardi.
