The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau confirmed the hiring of Jialan Wang as an economist in its Office of Research.
Wang was most recently assistant professor of finance at Washington University in St. Louis, according to the CFPB’s LinkedIn page.
She received her Ph.D at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Sloan School of Management, according to her LinkedIn profile and her bachelor’s of science in mathematics from the California Institute of Technology.
