Carlton hired William Moss, a residential investment-banking expert, as managing director. He will be responsible for Carlton’s newly formed Residential Strategic Advisory Group and co-head of Carlton’s Loan Sale Advisory Group. 

At Carlton, Moss’ responsibilities include representing financial institutions and investment banks in the valuation, asset management, and strategic advisement related to residential loan and REO portfolios. In addition, Moss will also create customized residential disposition strategies, which may include bulk sale strategies.

Moss spent the past 16 years holding senior positions at BlackRock and several investment banks. Most recently, he was managing director and portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory Group.
