Walpole, Mass.-based Mortgage Master is expanding across the Lone Star state and as part of the growth just appointed Michael Cannatti as Texas regional manager. Cannatti brings more than 37 years of mortgage industry experience to his new role.

Cannatti will be responsible for attracting high-quality mortgage originators, opening new full service retail production branches and expanding production volumes and market share in Texas.

"We are delighted to have Mike join our sales leadership team to expand Mortgage Master’s retail network throughout Texas," said Paul Anastos, president of Mortgage Master.

"Our focus has always been on finding  talented professionals that can help drive our growth.  To the extent we attract qualified and talented professionals in this great market, we don’t have any limitations on our growth in Texas, just a significant opportunity," he added.

Last year, the lender hired well over 100 loan originators in 15 states.
