What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
“I was at a conference in 2014, I was 27 and one year into starting LodeStar where I met someone who would become a good industry friend. I told him about my company’s first year and said ‘The hard part is over.’ He quickly responded to me saying, ‘No, the first hard part is over.’ Seven years later, he could not have been more correct, every stage of growing a business is difficult in its own way, you just have to learn to embrace the challenges and the personal growth that comes from tackling them.
