[Factsheet] Here’s what potential homebuyers think when shopping for a mortgage

The top 8 mortgage decision drivers

Step one: People decide that they want to buy a home.

Step two: And this is where you come in, they start shopping for a mortgage.

It’s this period where brokers and lenders only enjoy a very miniscule amount of time to lock in potential borrowers.

Don’t miss out, especially since only 17% of borrowers shop for a mortgage for more than a month. The majority of borrowers fall in a much smaller time category.

This week's factsheet uses data from United Wholesale Mortgage and Michigan State University to show what potential homebuyers think when shopping for a mortgage.

And it doesn’t hurt that HousingWire Senior Art Director Rosangel Torres designed it to be Red, White and Blue just in time for the Fourth of July!

Enjoy the holiday and here’s this week’s factsheet.
