SWBC announced earlier this week that David Cook has joined the company as Vice President of Sales for the Reverse Mortgage division. With more than 40 years in the mortgage industry, Cook will be responsible for working with SWBC’s financial institution partners and their clients.
“David is a great addition to SWBC’s Reverse Mortgage division,” said SWBC President Gary Dudley. “He brings a wide range of experience and has a strong mortgage and reverse mortgage background.”
Prior to joining SWBC, Cook was Vice President of Wholesale Sales for the Senior Lending Network. He also held a senior sales management position with Financial Freedom.
According to the company website, its reverse mortgage program provides financial institutions with the necessary materials and training for staff as well as marketing materials and a private label “weblet”. SWBC will process the applications and coordinate the closings.
SWBC entered the reverse mortgage business in 2007 and according to HUD’s Neighborhood Watch, SWBC endorsed 41 HECMs over the last 12 months.
