A former Ally Financial executive joined Fiserv (FISV) Monday as its new chief information officer and executive vice president.

Cliff Skelton will oversee infrastructure and other technology operations at Fiserv, according to the company. He last served at Ally as global chief technology and operations officer, and worked in high-level roles at Bank of America (BAC).

Fiserv, a financial services tech provider, said Skelton replaces Maryann Goebel, who will stay on with the company as an adviser until her retirement July 1.
