First Home Mortgage Corp. announced on Wednesday that Charlie Latimer has joined the company as a branch manager of its office in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

Latimer, a top producer in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, joined the retail mortgage industry in January 2020. By year two, he ranked among the top 1% of mortgage originators nationwide, according to Mortgage Executive Magazine.

Latimer has previously held producing roles at companies such as Loansteady, CrossCountry Mortgage, Draper & Kramer Mortgage Corp. and Aurora Financial.

In his new role, Latimer will partner with longtime branch managers Alex Jaffe and Joe Dawson, enhancing an already high-performing branch and expanding the company’s presence in a key market.

Between January and October 2025, Latimer produced a volume of $39.58 million across nearly 80 units, according to Modex data.
