Urban Financial Names New Chief Administrative Officer

Urban Financial of America today announced the appointment of Graham Fleming as managing director and chief administrative officer—a new position within the company.

Fleming brings more than 15 years of experience in consumer lending to the new position, including launching Icon Residential Lenders in 2006, for which he held the position of president. The company operated both wholesale and retail channels and funded more than $2.5 billion per year before being sold to Rushmore Home Loans.

Previously, Fleming served as chief operating officer of Finance America, a Lehman Brothers Company.

The hire aligns with Urban’s growth plans following its recent acquisition by an investor group, UFA President Steve McLellan said.

“Graham’s extensive track record of strategic leadership in financial services management and business development is a tremendous asset,” he said. “We are delighted to have him as part of our team as UFA begins an exciting new era, with new ownership and plans for continued growth and enhancement of our best-in-class sales and operations platform.”

UFA last week named Kristen Sieffert as chief operating officer of the company following a recent name change from Urban Financial Group to Urban Financial of America.
