Reverse Mortgage Funding has announced the hire of Midwest Regional Account Manager Michael Wyrostek to join in a third-party origination capacity for the company.
In his new role, Wyrostek will be based in Chicago and will report to National Sales Leader Mark O’Neil. He brings 15 years of experience in mortgage origination, underwriting and compliance, including recent work as branch manager for Mortgage Services III and oversight of the company’s reverse mortgage division.
Prior to work with Mortgage Services III, Wyrostek held roles as business development manager for Financial Freedom, where among other responsibilities, he trained and educated financial professionals on reverse mortgages. He also spent time as sales director for PCFS Mortgages Resources and as a Financial Advisor for Rosemont Investments.
“Mike is a welcomed addition to our growing third-party team,” O’Neil said. “His resume in this business is extensive, and includes successful stints in both wholesale and retail. We believe his knowledge of the industry and passion for the product, coupled with his experience in educating consumers and business professionals about reverse mortgages, will help advance the RMF brand throughout the Midwest.”
