ReverseVision Executive Recognized as Leader in Field

Reverse mortgage software solutions provider ReverseVision has had Wendy Peel, VP of sales and marketing, recognized as a winner of the inaugural 2021 Marketing Leader awards by HousingWire. In an effort to “recognize the most creative and influential marketing minds of the housing economy,” Peel joins the inaugural class of honorees according to an announcement by HousingWire and ReverseVision.

The recipients of the Marketing Leader awards are selected by HousingWire’s Selection Committee based on professional achievements within their organizations, contributions to the overall housing economy, client impact and personal success over the course of their careers. The class of selections is made up of strategic and creative marketing executives who have corroborated their skills with a high level of performance as determined by the Selection Committee.

Lauding the selection of Peel for the award is Joe Langner, president and CEO of ReverseVision.

“Wendy is a passionate and effective advocate of reverse mortgage lending who is committed to helping  lenders bring to market reverse mortgage lending programs, which have the ability to transform older  Americans’ financial strategies,” Langner said. “Wendy has made a great impact on this industry and her recognition as a HousingWire Marketing Leader is well deserved.”

The idea of recognizing high-performing marketers was further emphasized by the tumultuous year that professionals had to work through due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic,

“2021 was the perfect year to roll out the Marketing Leaders award program,” says Caren Karris, director of marketing for HousingWire and RMD parent company HW Media. “The last year has thrown marketers, including myself, its fair share of curve balls and these 50 individuals embody what it takes to think strategically and move  quickly to drive success for their brands and businesses.”

Earlier this year, ReverseVision announced it restructured its technology service plans and pricing matrix in an effort to streamline the entry of lenders into the reverse mortgage business space, while further aligning its offerings with a broader mission of allowing more adequate service to senior customers who use FHA lending programs.

President and CEO Joe Langner was also appointed in April to the Board of Directors at the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) a few months after he took over CEO duties from John Button at the beginning of the year.
