ReverseVision Adds New VP of Operations and Engineers to Enhance Software

San Diego-based reverse mortgage technology platform ReverseVision today announced the hiring of Justin Burns as VP of operations, along with senior software engineers Aron Weiler and Alan Gutierrez to oversee new enhancements to the company’s software offerings.

Burns’ duties will include oversight of company operations, where he will be tasked with streamlining existing processes and company structures. He previously served as head of service delivery operations for the San Diego County Credit Union, as senior technical advisor at Clear Solutions Advisors, as director of technical services and operations at Pointivity Cloud Solutions, and director of service delivery at Alliant International University.

Burns earned his MBA in information technology and business management from the University of Phoenix.

New senior software engineer Aron Weiler has over 20 years of experience leading organizational software development, previously serving as director of software engineering at medical diagnostic firm Truvian, also based in San Diego. He also served as systems architect and senior principal software engineer at medical device company Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD). Weiler also holds patents for computing architecture and a centralized medical device system.

Fellow new senior software engineer Alan Gutierrez has a decade of experience and previously held roles as senior software development engineer at medical device and software firm Breg, senior software developer at global tech company Cisco and also previously worked at BD as a senior software engineer.

Leveraging the experience of all the new hires to push forward its comprehensive software solutions is pivotal through the new hires, according to ReverseVision President Joe Langner.

“Our mission is to bring reverse mortgage lending forward with an API-enabled lending platform that makes it possible for loan officers to evaluate and originate Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) and private reverse mortgages alongside forward lending programs,” said Langner in announcing the new additions. “To that end, we’ve invested heavily in talent that will accelerate API development and integration partnership timelines. We look forward to delivering increased value to our customers with the help of Justin, Aron and Alan.”

Earlier this year, ReverseVision welcomed Joe Langner as its new president, following up on both a major brand refresh and details of a new business strategy handed down in late 2019, encompassed by an expansion of its offerings and presence in an effort to streamline the sales and origination process for both forward and reverse mortgage lenders.
