Reverse Mortgage Funding, which opened for business this month, today announced the hire of former MetLife executive Michele Zachensky to its management team.
Zachensky, who served as vice president of operations for MetLife’s reverse mortgage division before it exited the reverse business, will be leading fulfillment for RMF in her new role.
She brings experience in oversight of origination operations, including processing, closing, and insuring for multiple reverse mortgage channels and has held responsibility for ensuring post-closing coordination, as well as coordinating compliance for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and regulatory exams.
Zachensky has previously served on the Board of Directors for the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) and has also served on the NRMLA Professional Development, HUD Issues, Risk and Compliance, and Ethics Committees.
“This is such an exciting opportunity for me,” Zachensky said. “I’m thrilled to join this team and to work together to accomplish new things.”
Reverse Mortgage Funding launched earlier this month in the market for closed reverse mortgage loans. The team is led by former MetLife execs Craig Corn, Robert Sivori and Mike Mooney and industry veterans David Peskin and St. John Bannon. It now counts 30 employees with plans to grow its reverse mortgage business nationwide.
