Reverse Mortgage Funding Hires O’Neil to Growing Team

Newly launched Reverse Mortgage Funding today announced it is building its team with the new hire of Mark O’Neil as regional account manager.

The company opened for business in August under the leadership of several reverse mortgage veterans, with plans to expand first as a correspondent lender and before year end, as a wholesaler in the space.

O’Neil most recently served as an account executive with Security One Lending and worked previously for MetLife as an account executive certified to deliver reverse mortgage courses to financial planners. He has held positions at Countrywide and Everbank Reverse Mortgage as an originator. He also was a founding partner in law firm Humphreys and O’Neil, LLP and spent time as a financial advisor for UBS PaineWebber.

“I’m very excited to add Mark to our Third Party Sales Team,” said Mike Mooney TPO sales manager for Reverse Mortgage Funding. “Mark has deep experience in many aspects of our industry—as an originator, closing agent, and third-party account manager. He’s a thoughtful leader that will be called upon to help RMF build an industry leading Third Party Origination channel by establishing long lasting relationships with top flight institutions that are looking for a quality business partnership.”

Reverse Mortgage Funding is based in Melville, New York and Bloomfield, New Jersey with operations nationwide.
