Reverse mortgage newcomer Retirement Funding Solutions is boosting its operations team with the hire of Lisa Hatfield, an industry veteran who has most recently worked as a consultant for New Zealand Bank, and previously led retail development for Security 1 Lending.
RFS, which launched earlier this year under the leadership of former S1L president and founder Torrey Larsen, is building its San Diego-based operations and has begun originating reverse mortgages under its new leadership team.
Hatfield will report to David Entrekin in her new role. Entrekin serves as chief operating officer for RFS’s parent company Synergy One Lending.
Her experience spans work with Security One as well as past mortgage work, and she will complete her New Zealand-based assignment this summer to take on the role with RFS.

Hatfield welcomed the new position, including its early growth stage.
