Reverse mortgage lender Proficio Mortage Ventures announced this week it has hired two new division managers: John Metcalf and Joe Rizzo. The company says it is targeting national expansion from its headquarters in Henderson, Nevada.
Metcalf and Rizzo each bring more than a decade of reverse mortgage experience, having co-owned FutureSafe Financial and growing their company to more than 125 outside revere mortgage loan officers. In their experience owning FutureSafe, the two worked as originators, recruiters, trainers and managers.
“We are excited to add John Metcalf and Joe Rizzo to our management team,” said Sarah Young, national reverse operations manager for Proficio Mortgage Ventures. “Their experience in the reverse mortgage industry and background of building sales organizations will play a vital role in our national expansion.”
Proficio, founded in 2012, expanded rapidly with the hire of 100 former First National Bank of Layton loan originators after FNB announced it would no longer offer reverse mortgages in June 2012.
Since then, the company has ramped up production with its Henderson-based call center and branch partners, and is now a top-10 reverse mortgage originator by volume.
The company is licensed in 48 states and is a subsidiary of Proficio Bank.
