One Reverse Mortgage Announces Sweepstakes Winners

One Reverse Mortgage LLC today announced the three winners of its $20,000 Boost Your Retirement Giveaway sweepstakes.

The Top-5 reverse mortgage lender by volume launched the contest in January and received more than 100,000 entries during the span of three months. One Reverse told MRD upon the launch that the initial response was a positive source of reverse mortgage leads and raising brand awareness for ORM.

The $20,000 Boost Your Retirement Giveaway ran from January 1 to March 31, 2013 and was open to U.S. citizens age 62 and older. The sweepstakes offered cash prizes to three winners in the amounts of $10,000 for the grand prize and two runner-up prizes of $5,000 each.

There was no purchase necessary and entrants were able to enter once daily during the giveaway time period.

As part of the effort, with entry via email submission, contestants could choose to receive more information about reverse mortgages.

Pam Esenwine from Gilford, New Hampshire received the grand prize of a $10,000 check from One Reverse, with runners up including Brindel Rothspan of Huntington Beach, California, and Anne Hoffman of Gastonia, North Carolina.

“Response to the Boost Your Retirement Giveaway was tremendous with close to 120,000 entries from across the country,” said Richard Mandell, CEO of One Reverse Mortgage, in a press statement. “There is no greater satisfaction than knowing we can help the winners enjoy the retirement they dreamed of or help them get some relief from financial burdens.”
