The National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association today announced it will hold its western annual conference on May 14-15, 2013 in Irvine, California.
The West Coast conference will include sessions covering reverse mortgages in the larger context of the “big picture,” NRMLA says. Topics will cover retirement planning, the aging in place movement, the secondary market for reverse mortgages and the participation and role of the Department of Housing and Urban Development in administration of the government’s reverse mortgage program.
The conference follows an East Coast regional conferenced held in New York City in March.
“The most effective selling of reverse mortgages is not just about the numbers and the product’s rules and regulations; you need to be able to put the product in context, to paint The Big Picture,” NRMLA said in its announcement.
